Politics is a matter of perspective, not absolutes, Only through the past can we establish a normal and put the present events into a relative perspective. The press and the opposition only deal in the present so every event is just as huge as every previous event. This is why history is critical for politics.

The reality is this is a pretty small thing and compaired to the other scandals I mentioned, this didn't warrent the resignation.

The whole conservative government should resign, they can then be charged with their criminal acts, including conspiracy with known criminal elements such as the Hells Angels.
