I don't think you are making it up, I think the people who wrote that originally are. You just didn't go any deeper on who they are and what their agenda is, and what authority they have to do any of it.

Who exactly is responsible for societal norms? Sure the fuck isn't them. My friend is teaching his daughter all about the parts of her body, and her mother is teaching her all about consent, etc. That's who is responsible for teaching and maintaining societal values. Not random internet fuckwad.

Unfortunately whatever the parents teach at home seems to be getting obliterated first by whatever's happening on the classroom and then amplified even more by what's coalesced on social media. Leaving those kids alone with a smart phone becomes the worst thing a parent can do, with what they're being exposed to seemingly getting sicker with each day that passes.

Social media seems to have re-written within the space of less than a decade some of the social norms that took centuries to build. Darth Sidious would be envious of how easily it can be done with just computer screen and some bookmarked social media accounts.

Sounds like a master stroke for DeSantis. Orange county is what is know as a Democratic party stronghold. Its chock full of democrats that are never going to vote for DeSantis, so fuck em. That why I like having you around, for the differing perspective. It's interesting how you turn a major blunder for DeSantis into a dig at the Democrats who have no responsibility for the move. And Democrats are far from 'socialist'.

DeSantis has told the business community that agreements can be torn up on a whim. The word of the Government of Florida is worthless. Now, having an area that was serviced and maintained by a corporation, for the benefit of the corporation, will be added to the shrinking budgets of the surrounding counties, and the tax revenue from that world wide attraction is at risk. As Beau pointed out, Disney kept the area around the park *spotless*. Like PMQ spotless. White glove inspection spotless. Now it will revert to the typical state of repair that neighbouring counties enjoy, and tourists will see that. It's only a matter of time till Florida stops being a destination for Disney fans, and California expands.

And I will never cheer a man who punches down, to the vulnerable children under his mandate, in order to score some sort of political win with his base.

I don't bitch about higher taxes, I recognize that if I lived in the USA, my daughter would probably have died years ago from her auto-immune condition, but not before my wife and I racked up a 6 figure debt to some healthcare company and lost our house because of it.
