Given this twits utterly implausible reasons for his negligent act, I wonder if his defense lawyer has ever actually fired a weapon.

Maybe this guy is one of the JAG wonders that walked in off the street picked up a commision and couldn't find his ass with both hands on a dark night when it comes to military, rules, regulations and safety.
