$1: The Mounties cannot say if McGray is a suspect in their murder investigation; charges have still not been laid. You lock two guys up in a cell, one of them a convicted mass murderer who admitted to wanting to kill again and in the morning the other one is found dead, yet, you can't say if the convicted mass murderer with a desire to kill is a suspect. If you look in the websters dictionary under incompetence, you'll see the RCMP Logo. With police work like that it's a suprise McGray ever did any time.

You guys should see MSNBC's Lock Up Raw some real insight into prisons with a lot of stories told by inmates themselves on how they beat up, killed in prison with one even decapitating his cell mate with dental floss and threads from his pillow case !

It would be interesting to see how the 'Lib Posters' here try to 'justify' keeping this guy alive, safe, and comfy, when put against the fact that many 'good citizens' who are extremely ill cannot get funding for medication, because 'the money is not there'!

You have to understand that those are 2 different budgets, which have nothing to do with eachother. Killing this guy doesn't pay others people's meds... The money that would be saved (if any...) would paint a prison wall a different colour tho

I justify it by saying that 'good citizens' should also get funding for medication, etc, because the money is there is we stop sending it on things like oil industry subsidies as one example. Which world would you rather live in, one in which we kill killers (making us killers) and let 'good citzens' die be cause we won't fund their meds, or one where we are kind to everybody, don't kill anybody and fund 'good citizen's' meds because we don't waste all our tax money on crap, and because we're so afraid to disturb the rich by taxing them a bit more? As spokesman for "Lib Posters' we say that medicare should fund medications and dental care, but it's the 'Con Posters' who are against that, want everybody to scrabble for their own health care and fuck those who can't afford it. Get a second job if you want to pay for your cancer treatments.

If the prisons weren't supporting such ilk then their budget requirements would be lower, thusly allowing more money for more deserving depts.

If we quit spending money on the 'unnecessary', like coddling killers, then there would be more money to put into 'more deserving' budgets'. Society cannot live without oil and its derivatives!I'm a 'Con Poster', and I agree with your last statement! At least to the tune of basic dental.

How much will you save by not coddling killers? If society needs oil, ie high demand, why does it have to subsidize the profits of the oil companies? As for the last sentence, you're just a commie at heart, aren't you? Wanting to start a new entitlement.

Rather, it is those people who derive a false sense of 'feel-good', from keeping such carion alive and well looked after, who are living in a bubble!
