$1:
Crown prosecutors decided to bring in the most intimate part of a woman’s body to be used as evidence in a jury trial.

A gynecologist and medical examiner told the court that Gladue had suffered an 11 centimeter tear to her vaginal wall.

It was the first time partial remains of a person had been removed, preserved and brought into the court room as evidence.

The exhibit was also projected on to a giant screen in the courtroom.

And people wonder why First Nations don't trust the government.

I just don't understand the mentality of why they thought they had to cut her up like a cattle carcass and physically bring part of her into the acutal courtroom. You'd think they'd have photography and coroner's reports, and that'd be enough.

And of course, there'd be hell to pay if they did this to a white woman.

Tricks Tricks:
what in the actual fuck

They cut off her lady parts, preserved them, then showed them as evidence in court. In the meantime, they kept the rest of her in a freezer somewhere. Then lost the 'evidence' somewhere in the annals of the courts.

So they can't return the whole remains of a murder victim to the family, after more than 10 years, so they can properly mourn.

Happens to white people all the time.
