How did it come to attacks, Yuppie Harley owners or even those who just love harleys, I'd rather have 100 of them in a group living in my neighborhood than 1 hells angel. People say the angels keep the shit out of their own neighborhoods, to that I say oh yah, look at what happend in Quebec during the Rock Machine war

Martin chose to take it personally and we went from there. I have no problem with all the normal guys out there riding Harleys, not trying to prove anything, just enjoying their ride. I don't care if they're yuppies or homeless guys or what have you.

andyt: Not for nothing but in response to a post I made about biker gangs pimping 14-year-olds you did say, "Only thing worse are the biker wannabes". Now I understand your sentiment about RUBs*, and I also realize you probably didn't really mean they are literally, "the only thing worse" than gangsters who pimp, after all that's just sort of a figure of speech, but you may want to consider that others may have taken it in that vein.
I give you the credit that you probably didn't mean it that way, I'm just sayin'.

He's just here trying to piss people off, just being a happy little troll.

Martin - I don't recall making personal attacks on you, yet you've certainly seen fit to slag me. Not even in a direct at me, but as now "Andy this and Andy that."
I'm not trying to piss people off, but I'm not particularly concerned if I do. Seems to be part of having an argument with somebody. Sure, that can get personal. But you just make comments about me to the forum, without actually engaging me and without actually discussing any issue. So be it. And if you choose to take a general post I make, on topic, and see that as a personal attack on you, well, there's really nothing I can do about it.

Lemmy Lemmy: Andy, Andy, Andy...another thread heading for the Popcorn Playhouse. Thanks. Welcome. Look Martin, it's really very simple. I said I have no use for biker (gangster) wannabes and people who ride Harley's to look tough. If that's not you, then heck, you could join me by saying something like "yeah, I hate those dickheads too." If it is you... (Wish I'd just said this in the first place.)

I once belonged to the 10/10 motorcycle club (England). We all rode Triumph, Norton, BSA, Velocette etc, not a single Harley in sight. Back then Harley's were considered as moving oil fields.
