While I think/know that 8 and a half beers doesn't get me drunk, alcohol has a way of inhibiting your senses. Ergo, don't drive after consuming alcohol.

for some odd reason I think its possible the drinking didn't cause the death but the arrogance to swerve around a stopped car did . Without posting stats I think it puts drunk driving to shame regarding accidents and pedestrian deaths.
