Personally I think this is a good time to get a great deal on Toyota's. I was looking at a Subaru but I think I'll see what kind of deal I can get with these guys.

I think it's a great time to get a deal on any car...Most seem to be having problems except for Ford...

Some like Ian Lee are alleging Toyota has known of these problems as far back as 2002 or 2003....

http://watch.ctv.ca/news/autosctvca/toyota-trouble/

Apparently there is now a recall on Camry's for a brake hose issue....

Check again: From Oct. 14th

Close on the heels of Toyota’s recall 2009, comes another major recall by an automobile Giant Ford. Ford Motor Co. launched its largest recall ever on Tuesday, and also warned drivers of 4.5 million cars and trucks of a badly designed switch, which could cause vehicle fires.

Wes Sherwood, a spokesman for the company, said the recall includes the remaining vehicles equipped with a cruise control deactivation switch made by Texas Instruments, CNN reported. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the switch can be dangerous even when the ignition is off, with a risk of hydraulic fluid leaks, which could be very dangerous.

A breaking news on News 95.7 an ex Toyota lawyer is spilling the beans on Toyota....

$1:

In an exclusive interview with ABC News, a former top lawyer for Toyota claims the automaker regularly hid evidence of safety defects from consumers and regulators, and fostered a culture of "hypocrisy and deceit."
Dimitrios Biller says automaker covered up evidence of safety problems.

"You have to understand that Toyota in Japan does not have any respect for our legal system," said Dimitrios Biller, who worked as managing counsel for Toyota's American operations from 2003 to 2007. "They did not have any respect for our laws."

Biller handled product liability suits while with the company. He claims that when Toyota received poor results in a vehicle rollover test, it ordered a new test in order to receive better results. According to Biller, the company also made a practice of concealing proof of safety problems, and did not disclose information it was obligated to produce

Isn't there such a thing as Lawyer/Client confidentiality? Maybe a dismissed employee who is willing to say whatever it takes to make a name for himself??

That statement demonstrates an analytical healthy objective questioning of information presented.

Stemmer has a long established reputation of being anything but having an analytical healthy objective questioning of information for anything involving the Japanese, Koreans, or Chinese. His mind (for lack of a better term) is already made up!
