$1:
Shena Hardin, 32, was caught on a cellphone camera as her car swerved onto the sidewalk to get around a bus picking up and dropping off children on East 38th Street in Cleveland. The bus driver was recording and police were ready because Hardin allegedly passed the bus on the sidewalk on a regular basis

What a total moron, she's lucky to still have a license....

Yep. I think the sign should just have said "ask me why I'm an idiot" and she should have to be out there say every Saturday (or day she's not working) for a week, 8 hours. If the weather is bad, that would be so sad. Or just make her volunteer as a bus monitor for a year.

If the bus was stopped, doesn't' that mean the kids would be getting off on the sidewalk? How did she avoid hitting them?

Cruel and unusual punishment. This would never stand a Charter Challenge in Canada.

Unusual? Sure. Cruel? Nowhere near as cruel as time in the "big house".

Also not nearly as cruel as it might have been should she have run down one of the children getting on or off the bus. If you ask me her punishment isn't cruel at all, she actually got off easy. She wrecklessy puts lives in danger and only loses her license for 30 days, that's a slap on the wrist.

Well, as you say, she did it wrecklessly, so that should count in her favor.

She was not in control of her vehicle, so that shouldn't be held against her??

Watch the video in the link. It's... different than how I was envisioning it too.

I watched the video and understand that this was not the first time she did this. The guy filming it points her out when she is nowhere near the bus and the police just happened to be right behind the bus in a parking lot.

And that's unfortunate. She got off extremely easy all things considered.

Saw this somewhere else and the "talk" was that she did it like clockwork and the school division told the cops and they were waiting there for that reason.

The fact she pleaded not guilty goes to show she is either really retarded or a snot, or both.

I'm thinking that would be redundant. I'm sure you'd realize that this broad's an idiot pretty quickly, with or without tattoo. :D

Sometimes a good old public shaming is a better sentence than jail time.
