Way back when, my friend had a big crabapple tree in his yard. In the fall, it would drop a hundred pounds a week of apples on the lawn. (seemed like that, picking them up). So we'd take the apples and drop them in a field conveniently located right near our tree stand for a few weeks before hunting season.

I think after the Charlie Hedbo thing, that's exactly what this was. "Let's bait the really dumb radicals!!"

I mean really, unarmed cartoonists are easy targets, but Texas is an open carry state! What are they thinking, that no one in the crowd would return fire?

My thoughts exactly. There were no unarmed victims in Texas and Texans don't have a record of understanding and tolerance when it comes to idiots screaming about their evil religion.
