My statement wasn't meant to be funny, I was satirizing the comment before mine namely that Christian are the ones that we should be letting into the country.

My point was that the implications of this are that someone is asking for a religious test to gain entrance.

Last time I checked, this was a secular country and I do think it is funny that the same people who rail against the Religiously run theocracies of the middle east are completely willing to applaud a policy that would take the religion of an asylum seeker into account before allowing entry.

So yes it is funny but not a haha type of funny.

I'd like to say that we should only admit atheists and secularists from the Muslim world in as immigrants. Problem is they're few and far between because the religious ones keep killing them.

See, but that's my point. You're fixated on the wing. I orient to where I hear the voice of what they've started calling cultural libertarianism. It can be any wing. It can be Breitbart.com or Rebel Media, but it's just as likely to be a liberal battling SJWs, or actual, for real Libertarians like Stephan Molyneaux, or Lauren Southern. Basically it's counter-Prog. Or if you prefer it in Liberal terminology, it rejects the hijacking from the Regressives that have snuck in amongst the pigeons.

Also, because what's sometimes called the "Mainstream" has been hijacked by the enemy I can't help hearing the voice of that media as well. So I can't avoid knowing all sides.

And believe it or not again there's even some reasoned well supported thought at Breitbart or Rebel. BTW the late great Breitbart also began as a Liberal.
