And that has what to do with this thread?

Specific to this thread? No, it isn't OT directly. I just find it sadly amusing that one who'd appropriate Brock's name would seem so resolutely in the corner of Willcocks.

Hey, I have an opinion. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it any less of an opinion.

You're welcome to your opinion. I wasn't naysaying your right to have it. I was just drawing attention to an irony which seems to be wizzing above your head.

So be it. Never to mind.

Back OT. CTV and CanWest're proudly rightwing. Anything left of CTV and CanWest is described as leftwing. Doesn't make 'em leftwing in reality, just leftwing by perspective.

Geddit?

What is your problem? If you want to carry on with your personal digs, take it to pm.

Maybe your wise prose will wiz above my head there also.

Those emoticons are far too sophisticated for me. The meaning wizzes over my head.

I'm not too sure how far right Canwest is, the owner was a Liberal Party member if I remember right.

Very true that there is some bias at Radio Canada (French CBC). But should not be much of a surprise considering that most journalists in Quebec are for the most part very partial and opinionated. Pretty much all medias in the province are left and nationalist, some obviously more than others.

Only an opinion, but Global News seems to be the most ''unbiased'' amongst all news broadcasts.

The Global National particularly with Kevin Newman appears to be informative. Although, not to be sexist in any way, but they could use some more ''hot'' chicks during their newscasts to make it more appealing to their male audience.

I think I have to agree with you there Pimp. Global are about as middle of the road as it gets in Canada re political slant. I should watch more. As it is I don't often watch TV news anymore.

And I agree with you on getting the information off the net as previously mentionned.

Take the front page of CKA for example. Excellent source of information and interesting news. :)

Funny enough - the most unbiased news I can think of in the USA is...the BBC.

The Beeb are good but they are well known for an anti-Israeli slant and big are buddies with Hamas.

When I was Ethiopia during the famine a thousand years ago, we witnessed the Beeb reporters basically making most of it up, some of it while we were in earshot.

When they were challenged by us they got very sheepish and buggered off. I can't see any huge change with them these days.

That may well be, but for coverage of US issues I'm finding them mostly neutral on most topics.

And I notice your opinion of their field staff mirrors that of the mob at Credenhill. [B-o]

There are many times I find CBC coverage of American news more straight
forward and unbiased than many American news networks. I assume they are
the same way with their own news.
