I wonder if we still have Nuns teaching in Québec... mind you, there are few Nuns left out there and the average age must be close to 80.

:?: I saw nuns like last year who were at most 40. Unless there are other people who wear habits.

The numbers I saw are from Québec.

$1:
The nuns who once ran an empire of provincial schools and hospitals are vanishing. From a height of about 47,000 Catholic nuns in Quebec in 1961, fewer than 6,000 remain, most of them in their 80s.

The request comes as the CAQ prepares legislation that would block public workers in positions of authority, including teachers, from wearing religious symbols.

Meaning that this rule will be used to chase observant religious folks from all government jobs because even though it specifies a limited application the fact of government drones is that a bunch of bullying managers and administrators will go apeshit with this rule.

And, of course, Islamic religious gear will be exempted from this bullshit law making it a war on Jews and Christians.

This is about Quebec, not France.

They hate all the Abrahamics equally.

Quebec's Education Ministry is trying to find out how many people its plan to ban teachers from wearing religious symbols will affect.

If done fairly and equitably the ban will affect all of them.
