Always people will cite the edge cases when trying to defend the status quo.
The fact remains that much of our society is geared toward the white person, and males in particular. Like rick demonstrated, black surfaces are not picked up by photosensitive sensors. Black and brown people I work with always have problems with their laptop cameras trying to focus on them. And bandaids are really obvious for those who are non white.
Why the big deal because a company wants to tap a untapped market? I mean, J&J announced the same thing a year ago, and no one noticed.

The only bandages I have had to buy over the last few years are the knuckle/fingertip ones (most common places I injure) so I have never even looked at what else is on the shelf.
