The Royal Family just represents the Crown. The Crown is the Spirit that holds our system of government together; it underlies our goverment, our civil service, and our justice system. We have Crown forests, Crown lands, and even our unclaimed estates "return to the Crown."
The Royal Family attempt to live exemplary lives to represent this Spirit, but many try to tear it apart, but on the whole the Royal family, in spite of being spied upon constantly, do a remarkably good job!
