Oh, btw, it has happened before. A 9 year old girl from Chile has delivered and raised a healthy child. Not twins though.

Brenda Brenda:
BartSimpson BartSimpson:
Brenda Brenda:
Ok, my dear, let me rephrase it. In this particular case, her mom has the choice. Her mom made the wise decision to have her aborted.
She is 9. She should not have a say in the matter until she is old enough to understand the consequences of her choices.
9 is not old enough.

Okay, my dear, then if mom says the girl has to keep the baby and doctors check her out and say she can safely carry the baby to term you'd agree that the mother's choice is paramount?

Yes
Edit: And I hope they will all be sued with (for?) child abuse if that happens.

Then you really are pro-choice.

Thanks for being consistent with your views.

It happened before that, too. A certain prominent fellow in Saudi Arabia married and impregnated a nine year old girl who is now noted as his favorite wife.

You heard it from the Catholic Church people...

Abortion is a worse sin than rape.

thats not entirely true, Brenda. a 12 or 13 year old girl who is pregnant has every right to have a say in what happens to the child inside her. all the parents can really do is make suggestions as to what is best, you can't force or coerce someone into doing something.

This girl is 9... You missed that point too? I have been talking about his particular situation.

I don't know how it legally works here in Canada, but I consider myself a good enough mother to be able to make sure my kid makes the right decision, if I even have her make one. There is no chance in hell my kid (11 at the moment) is going to carry a child to term. Make suggestions? My ass. I tell her what to eat and what clothes she can wear too. Sounds only logical I tell her that there is no chance in hell she can keep a baby.
But hey, that is just me, my personal opinion.

Why would you want to carry a baby to term and give it up for adoption at 13?
(I am not making this personal, and I refuse to.)
