Without Christians, how would Pakistan keep its toilets clean?

You think they really want to ? I've heard different.
.

Well, cleaner. Anyway, a little bit of filth keeps the immune system on its toes.

As usual, I am replying late....So sorry for that

The videos, I posted, only thing I disagree with is the voiceless minorities which got mentioned in video....

NO - They are not voiceless....Heck in this digital age, no one can be considered voiceless except in few cases.

Pakistani minorities have fair share in our Parliament...Pakistani public holidays cover Hindu festival Holi and Christmas of Christians.

They are also present in our armed forces.

DrCaleb DrCaleb:
Don't go injecting 'facts' into this discussion Fighter! It only confuses people.

I have been running my Pakistan related threads for quite a time....Wondering How many people visited it or may be I didn't post anything substantial in it?

1. No one wanted to kill her for her religion - Fact.

https://www.premier.org.uk/News/World/T ... th-threats

2. Christians clean our toilets just like Hindus and Muslims....Fact.

https://thediplomat.com/2018/11/aasia-b ... ouchables/
https://www.worldwatchmonitor.org/2018/ ... asia-bibi/
https://tribune.com.pk/story/357765/pak ... -struggle/
Muslims may clean toilets, but I'm willing to be you the portion of the population of Muslims that clean toilets is far lower than the portion of population that is Christian or Hindu.
3. Sure, be happy , what other choice is there?

I'm happy to see you reference a man like Cecil Chaudhry, it means your probably not an Ideologue. The thing is many are; on both sides. But you cannot claim that she was not threatened for her religion when those village hags absolutely wanted her dead because she was Catholic. Then the world saw all the ignorant hardliners demand her head on a pike. Everything in that part of the world is about religion.

A Muslim guy had been killed as well for same reason, in Pakistan..for Blasphemous content.....Don't know what's so special about Asia?

-----

So, in your opinion, who clean toilets are sub human or of lower caste or of lower strata....You're sounding like cleaning toilets is actually a job for discarded and underprivileged people ?

As long as their rights and salaries are good and covered, nothing wrong with it....Division comes not by job description but by mindset and thinking.

Christians bring out their camels in joy over here...yes, I will repeat, they are happy.

It's hilarious that many Pakistanis themselves find amusing that Pakistan is only country in Muslim world who came on basis of Muslim rights and religion Islam was a motivating factor but yet to elect a religious government in power....All governments have been in secular in nature. We never elected religious nuts in power unlike US and India.

martin14 martin14:

Mixed feelings.. no you don't, you posted before ITT she should stay in Pakiland.

1. is a lie

2. is irrelevant

3. is only your opinion, and since you are not a Christian, not an informed one.
3a. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

I wanted to her to stay in Pakistan because this is her country but anyway, if she decides to move to Canada and government also doesn't seem to objecting her then i think it's fine. People should possess choices for them.

Rest of your post is just

Sunnyways Sunnyways:
Combine the worst aspects of Sunni Islam with South Asian casteism and the result ain't pretty. Christians are far more likely to be employed in menial jobs than Muslims are - the figures aren't even close. One of my friends is a Pakistani Christian. He says that all of his relatives who could get out of Pakistan already have.

And I have a Christian friend, named Shawn Paul, still living in Pakistan.

No...Pakistanis don't have any cast system...Islam has absolutely reduced it. Want to see cast system, visit India

Two guys sitting in North American continent getting worried about Pakistani Christians?

I don't get this....What's the problem?

Didn't see them caring about their own citizens in that way?

We have the same problem you would if we were sentencing Muslims to death for blasphemy here.

When did we sentence Asia to death penalty? Court freed her.

it's good thing you care about my rightwingers/religious nuts however it'll be more good if you take care of your own nut cases, who may be planning to hurt Muslims and other minorities as of now .

The court aquitted her, she was sentenced to death.

$1:
In June 2009, Noreen was accused of blasphemy after an argument with co-workers while harvesting berries.[8][9] She was subsequently arrested and imprisoned. In November 2010, a Sheikhupura judge sentenced her to death by hanging. The verdict was upheld by Lahore High Court and received worldwide attention.

We talk about all sorts of things here, mostly Canadian. That’s what this site is for. Pakistan rarely gets a mention. My own concern for South Asian minorities comes from many places but particularly from the people I have worked with over the years. The subcontinent is cursed with a brutal class system.

Fair enough. India takes the lead in caste system while Pakistan is way way far behind.

Pakistani court sentenced her to death and Supreme Pakistani court over rules that....Evens out and doesn't prove anything about Pakistan......Just how law takes its own course

The law did take it's course but you've got to remember that western countries separated the church and state centuries ago which means, that to the west any blasphemy laws that include a penalty of death for what we would consider free speech or at the very worst a misdemeanor is also considered outrageous and more than a little barbaric.

So, as long as the less than progressive part of your gov't, judicial system and religious community continues to remained mired in the 12th century when it comes to crime and punishment you're country is going to leave itself open to criticism for it's actions and rightly so.

We shouldn't be so high and mighty. We just removed the laws against Witchcraft last year, but not before charging someone with it a few days before it was legalized. ;)

We have made far more progress in our 70 years since independence than others and I am sure we'll be fine in coming decades.

Absolutely. Once you figure out whether you want to be a theocracy or a secular nation you'll progress hopefully even further.
