THe next step will be to link up with the Cdn version (which has been in operation for years) and bring in the Amero!

The cunning Busharpitler plan is obvious!

It's gonna take more than one brigade to maintain control over the US.

Of coars it will. But the first step is to make people used to the thought of millitary doing police work.

The US Army has taken five years to secure parts of a second-world nation and in five years they've been unable to secure a third-world nation. I'm really not too worried about the Army taking over America.

Now if this was the Marines it'd be a different matter altogether!

I'd say it would be much easier than securing Iraq. You really think there would be violence as a respons to martial law? Hardly. Have you seen the arsenal U.S police have at it's disposal lately for instance?
Might be a few mainstream media outlets that would be critical but all you need is a firestarter. An event that would add on to the confusion and fear that's already brewing in the U.S.

You haven't seen some of the arsenals that a lot of Americans have at their disposal. Citizens vs. the police and a badly divided military (I signed the 29 Palms declaration) would not be a fair fight. Add to that that the politicians who supported such a thing would be dead along with their families. Hell, a lot of people would be HAPPY to see this happen as it gives them an exucse to carry out the revolution they've been aching for.

9/11 didn't destabilize the nation so anything less than all-out war won't destabilize it either. Fact of the matter is that Americans tend to do better under adversity so anything ugly will tend to pull us together.

Hmm.. You know.. You're right. America is full of gun nuts. And that's probably what the Government is hoping for. They'd only spin it alowing them to use all those nifty gadgets they have, like the new micro wave weapons. Isn't that a scary thought. Being burnt from the inside by boiling water. Eeeewww.
AND they'd get to use the concentration camps located all over the country.
I think the Government has all they need in the form of surveillance systems and the like to supress such an attempt.

They got to pass a lot of laws empowering the government even further and taking away basic rights for the american citisens. A lot has changed after 9/11.

Not very imaginative. 1 out of 10.
I liked the other one, though. Who made that one?

We're not gun "nuts" we're gun owners. Plenty of people own firearms that have never or rarely been fired. Plenty of women own them for self defense. And then there's the serious collectors who could outfit a regiment all on their own and we do have a lot of collectors.

True. That's part of why I oppose Obama. He supported the arbitrary seizure of guns in New Orleans and I expect as President he'll sign an Executive Order banning guns and then the party will be on.
