$1: Peer reviewed studies are like getting references from your best friends.
No actually, they are nothing like that. They are more like asking complete strangers to examine your methodology and examine your claims and your interpretation of the data. It's not a perfect system...for instance global warming deniers and creationists have tried to subvert the system for political reasons...but it all shakes out over time.

Rev_Blair Rev_Blair: $1: ure but just who are his peers and do they have an agenda? I'll read it if you can find one that doesnt. We're still waiting for those names you promised to drop, not to mention their list of peer-reviewed papers. waiting for yours,as for peer reviews......you need those?

Yet your fellow global-warming nay-sayers seem to think peer-reviewing is important. It's funny you'll support each other even when you contradict each other.

Come on, Ziggy, you said you could drop the names of these esteemed scientists you've been hanging out with. Let's have them. I want to know who these esteemed scientists who have worked at both poles are, what their specific field of research is, and what peer reviewed work they've done.

JetBoy JetBoy: ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog: Peer reviewed studies are like getting references from your best friends. Then why did you suggest that Suzuki read up on his peer-reviewed material? ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog: He should read the recent spat of peer-review material that thoroughly debunks CO2's role in a largely non-event. You just spew whatever sounds good at the time, even if it means having to contradict yourself later. ahhhh, another enviro-nut.

Pardon me, but did I ever blame global warming on wild animals' flatulence or deny there was an end to the ice age during the last 90,000-year cycle?
I don't mind debating the ignorant, but if you continue using straw man arguments like that, there's really no point in continuing this further.

Sorry, went to take a leak and missed your last post.
So there's only one? Yeah, sure...send me her name and bio. I won't say who she is. If I find her work lacking or questionable though, I'll certainly say so.

So you get your information from non-scientists? LOL. I'm starting to wonder if it's you who's drunk.
