He's certainly more qualified that Inhofe. Suziki is a respected science journalist as well as being a scientist. He can back up what he says with peer-reviewed studies. Can you do the same?

Can you do the same? sure but just who are his peers and do they have an agenda? I'll read it if you can find one that doesnt.

ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog: well folk have been living on flood plains for thousands of years and still haven't figured out the moving part. "Yup, we's bin flooded out 7 outta the las'10 years, but we'll be back to rebuild......with guvermint money of course!"
If the oceans rise six feet it won't just be the flood-plains that will be underwater. But I guess that concept as eluded you.

JetBoy JetBoy: BartSimpson BartSimpson: But I did catch the part on his work in the entertainment industry where he's just as qualified as Al Gore and Leonardo DeCaprio to speak on environmental issues. Leo and Al aren't scientists.
No, thank you for recognizing that, they are not. Mr. Suzuki, just the same as Gore and DeCaprio is also not a climate scientist but he, just the same as Gore and DeCaprio, is an entertainer.

Peer reviewed studies are like getting references from your best friends. Ziggy, I think you mean the arctic, not the antarctic

One foot is the actual sea level rise prediction for 2100 by people who are not Al Gore.

We're still waiting for those names you promised to drop, not to mention their list of peer-reviewed papers.

You're obviously ignorant on this subject and didn't even bother reading the opening post. Stop wasting my time, Bart.
