Would any of our anti-American members like to comment on this rather major PR gaff? I'd hate for this tobe missed and not be available for further discussions.
I'd also hate to miss the NDP's position on this. They were one of the major drivers for letting these people stay so now that the man was free to go home at any time, I wonder how their position has changed.

I think it’s telling that the US left desperately needs a Vietnam War to fight against and the'll make up one if they need to.
