I don't think our doctors, nurses, teachers, police, firefighters, engineers and other specialists are suffering too much.

Do we need farmers? Of course we do. but we also need doctors, nurses, teachers, police, firefighters, engineers and dozens of other specialists to maintain our economy. My point is if we subsidize one group we have to subsidize them all. You are obviously too thick to understand that, so just let the adults talk, ok? All paid for with tax money. Way to make a point!

But if you insist, let me add accountants, dentists, scientists, electricians, welders, auditors, lawyers, systems analysts, computer programmers, mechanics, carpenters to name a few.

$1: As a matter of fact; I went shopping yesterday at 'no frills' in Vegreville. ONE T-bone steak-just big enough for one person, one meal- $18.92! you mean 2 - 4 oz? The big thing is grain prices. Feedlots are charging more and making less, and while bread prices are influenced by grain beef prices are moreso since it takes more grain to mae a pound of beef then a pound of bread.

The problem with this program is it creates an unfair interprovinical trade barrier. worse still this drop in cattle prices is predictable and part of a normal cattle cycle.
