Lots of other countries to sell oil to. Once gas reaches $4-$5/gallon average we'll see how American politicians dance.

This also means increased reliance on the middle east for their oil. Must be Bush and his buds again protecting their interests.

The eco-errorists managed to sneak in a clause in a bill for something else.....that happens all the time in the US. It will get amended. Trying to enforce that just means it's days are numbered.

Too early to celebrate Hurley.........

Oh for heavens sake these people will soon be on their knees begging for any oil at all. They are running out of money, and they soon won't be able to pay for it. Bush today is begging Arabia to lower the price so they can afford to buy, what a joke. Its the Americans trying to get all they can for as little as possible. The Americans have become little more than economic prostitutes peddling their wealth and jobs, to keep up appearances and they will soon be humbled. Dirty oil, so what, we should immediately raise the price by twenty five percent

What's balls got to do with it? We either want the oil or we don't. We can either pay 1.00 something for gas now or 2.00 and higher after we stop exploiting the oil sands.

There in lies the problem, we need a return to nationalism and canadian control of companies in this country. I would however be working as I farm and we export to more than America, all be it we do ship lots of product to the united states. It is time canadians looked for markets outside of the States as that country about to make a long trip down the economic scale, they can't afford their lifestyle anymore. These people have brought their misery on themselves and we should use the improved loonie and the current circumstances to gain control of our industry again.
Its also time to put an end to this NAFTA crap as well.
