Yep, the little shit might end up having to pay court costs. Texas has had a "loser pays" law on the books for around the past four years. The law also allows judges to arbitrarily dismiss frivolous cases and Ahmed stands a very good chance of having his case dismissed as frivolous.

I read somewhere that there are right-wing groups offering to cover costs to fight this so possibly no cost to the taxpayer to fight this bullshit case.
