$1: Since this seems to be the only actual issue about the current invasion that can be discussed without emotional pandering, let's see. That argument is way too...idealist for the real life situation we have around the world. Didn't the Americans do exactly what you want after getting involved in the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan? So...not only do you attack the Americans for not getting involved in their internal affairs after the Soviet invasion was repelled, you attack them for staying involved after they removed the Taliban. So tell me, should the Taliban be unpunished for what happened on 9-11? That seems to be your argument. So the Americans should have ignored Pearl Harbor as well. They should of stayed out of the Second World War, and pfft, it was just a few damn ships, who cares?
Sure the situation is somewhat different, but so what? It's still close enough if you want to keep comparing different historical events to this one.
Should it go ignored that the Americans dropped the bomb on hiroshima 3 days after japan surrendered during world war 2?... Honestly no point in trying to point the finger..every government from every country has screwed up at one point or another that has led to bigger complex situations, no point in trying to sort out blame somewhere down the line everyone fucked up.

You may want to have another look in the history books. Check the 15th of August 1945.

it depends which history book you look at. Official documents released years after the war state that the bomb was dropped 3 days after amongst other miliatary information, i don't know why that fact is neglected even now

As I understand it, we'll get his goofy ass on our coins before William...

I say it should be someone from your country.

Just because her Majesty Elizabeth II is on all our coins, doesn't mean she's on all our money. you should check out the fact that we ahve prominent historic Canadian figures on all of our bills, with Her Majesty being only on the $20 bill.
