I think that the whole "slavery conditions" thing is probably exagerated. But I don't see any reason that Dhalla should have been in posession of the employees birth certificate and passport. Something is definitely not right and the whole "my brother was in charge of her employment" thing sounds pretty fishy too.
I'll reserve judgement until all of the facts come out but there is no reason for anyone to be in possesion of someone else's passport, unless the woman had just left it at Dhalla's residence, but if that was the case, what possible reason would the advocate have to lie ?
Doesn't look good for Dhalla right now. If she is proven to be in the wrong she should definitely get the boot.
