Unfortunately a sign like this or a "Beware Dog" sign would tell the courts that you knew your dog would attack and you would be charged.

Which is just as fucked up as the rest of it.

So, let's just do away with locks, alarm systems etc and just leave our doors wide open. That way no one gets hurt and it'll free up court time.

I already leave my house and truck unlocked most of the time and post a No Trespassing sign. The fact that I have 85 lbs of German Shepherd that hates people coming onto her property doesn't get mentioned.

I think the changes in the law currently being put forth in the house should eliminate many of the victims attempted prosecution for defending themselves.
