This story is making a lot of noise only because of the "ick" factor. Besides, how do we know that Jessica Yaniv wasn't abused when she was young, maybe physically and most certainly psychologically... by her parents and peers... and is most certainly psychologically damaged. All she's doing now is lashing out at the society that rejected her.


Kinda like all those poor mass shooters who have mental issues... and if you're going to blame mental issues for mass shootings, then I guess you can blame mental issues for Jessica Yaniv's actions.

In an ad for "Naked and Afraid", a participant say "If you don't believe this is real, Fuck Off". Unsurprisingly, that did not convince me it was real.

What I especially don't like is when they take what should be a 2 hour documentary, add some fake dramatic stuff and the personal life of all the participants and turn it into a 7 season fail.

Trying to convince you that it's all real is bad too.

NO they will make it into an after school TV special. So they can spread Yaniv's struggle and get sympathy generated for Yaniv.

Truthfully I don't have any for those POS's or anyone like them. I hold people accountable for their own actions. The more I've looked into it the more I'm drifting away from Mental Illness to basic lack of being able to function in society because they for what ever reason can't cope with how the world is. That's not a mental issue that's a mentality and lack of being able to deal with things.

Sorry I am not articulating myself very well. Just know, in regards to mass shootings, it's around 25% having mental issues and of that % few are actually psychotic or another type that you would associate with these type of killings.

Pretty hard to define "mental illness"...

I might go the other way and say mental illness is at least partial responsible for their actions and low self-esteem seems to make it worst.

There are a lot of people who have mental illnesses and have no problems being good members of society.
