Neato. Last week, Mars was bright enough in the night sky for all to see. I checked it out two nights in a row with binoculars. I'm seriously considering buying a telescope in the near future to do more space watching.

I used to own a telescope when I was a kid, but sold it in my teens. Should have kept it!

Same! I've always wanted a really good telescope that I could do astronomical photography with.

A small reflector is good value for money. One that has automatic tracking and target finder are worthwhile add ons. Something like this:
