I don't know who she is, but there is a form of arthritis that affects the moisture in the eyes. People with this ailment have to wear special glasses to keep moisture on the eye. I'm not saying this is the case I'm just putting it out there, since wearing sunglasses indoors by a politician seems absurd.

Edit: She's wearing glasses in a pic of the women's caucus on her web site. Without knowing, I'd guess RUEZ is probably right.

Patrick_Ross, I'm pretty sure shes not blind. Everything Ive read said shes just very sensitive to light.
