I read good portion of it but also did alot of skimming . Nothing seems to be overbearing enough to be of great value .

If you don't feel like reading, you should checkout this great slideshow of Vista RTM screenshots.

I can't wait to get vista. Windows XP has been really good to me after all of the stuff I have done to it. I still can't believe how much graphics/RAM it takes to run the OS. Oh well, I am planning on getting a new rig in a couple years anyway, and it'll definatly have enough stuff to run it anyways. 8)

Really? From what I have been reading, Microsoft recommends 1G, users recommend 2G and can painfully run with 512 mb. But in either case, I do plan of having around 8+ gigs in there. 8)

Dude, I was running Vista RC1 on my rig with 2Gb of RAM and playing half-life 2. Granted I had to restart to run anything after that, but still... Vista doesn't require that much RAM.

more of the components system of vista in RC1 are disabled, I'm a beta tester of Vista, and trust me, vista need at least 3gb

I'm still skeptical. RC1 didn't have that much disabled in the memory-hogging area. I had Aero and all the other graphical, er, "niceties" enabled. Show me an official statement by MS that says Vista requires 3 gigs of RAM.
