Where's research? Do you mean the technology upgrade?
You have to enter the correct amount for each resource for the tech level you're trying to acquire to not get an error. However, you can enter each resource individually and they get "Invested" until you have enough of each for the next level.
From what I read on the forum, you should focus on the stuff other than tech initially, because the only thing it's good for is military, and you can't engage anyone until you have enough resources to get to level 45.

I know that bootlegga and I are resistance, so we could create one... obviously if anyone is skynet, they can't be in the same squadron.
I don't like the way the market works - typing a negative number to buy and a positive number to sell... I wanted to sell a bunch of concrete and steel and typed the number in without thinking, and ended up buying that amount instead. I sold it back again, but I lost 20% of the value in the exchange.

I've created the Canada KA Squadron (Not sure if they're against the word Ass). All resistance members are free to join!
Hopefully the mechanics of the game will allow for some real fighting. I don't play Galava but I do play Lunar Wars and it can be a little restrictive.
So long as it's not taken over by the non-fighting sim-builders.

I've got my research done and I'm up to a processor capacity of 44 (one level from war). Kinda wondering when I'll get to do more research.

How do you get points to unlock more tech? I am currently at lvl 35, but do not have anymore tech points.

That's one of the outstanding questions that need answering. Nothing has come forward as to what level allows more research.
