Good advice. Spend as much on infra until you get to 1,000 citizens so you can buy a bank to bump your income. Don't worry about the tech.

That's what I have been doing. When I first started it said I was over populated, so I bought a little land to solve that first.

I send an intermediate $500 000, he sends you $420 000, you buy 20tech and send it to me. if you have 0 tech it should only cost you about 275 to buy the tech. the rest of the money would be yours.
