What's with all the multiple posts? It's happening to a lot of people, so something is hinky with the site.

Those of us who have played Risk with you just kind of ignored it, Zen. As usual I'm trading all my cards in for beer.

Pole: I think you'll find that troop transport becomes a minor issue once a hot war breaks out. Ships get built, planes appear that nobody knew existed. The reason nobody has ever been able to answer the question, "What if they threw a war and nobody came?" is that everybody who wants to be there finds a way to show up. It's like a Grateful Dead concert.

Let's also remember that Canada is part of le Francophonie. If we get into with the US as part of the Commonwealth we bring a whole bunch of other allies. Not as powerful as the Commonwealth perhaps, but nothing to be sneezed at.

The double, triple posts happen because a debug error appears after you post. In the journal section it dumps everything you have written. in the discussion forums it posts. How to fix it , I've no idea perhaps Canadacka has some insite . Oh yeah if you edit your site the debug message does not seem to appear.

Until its fixed maybe write a few words, post then finish up your thoughts in the edit mode. It might save some grief.

Have you all forgot that most American teens are better armed then most of the worlds militarys? How about the fact that most Americans kill at least two people in their life time using fully automatic weapons? I agree with most of you that nothing good has ever came out of America or that Americans are not capable of anything good but one thing I do know is that trying to invade America would be impossible due to the barbaric nature of Americans and trying to bring them into the civilised world will be impossible.

Most of you also mention that America is getting its butt kicked in Iraq by poor Iraqi peasants with pitch forks(some "military huh?) however you seem to forget that the the savage American military is minding its P&Qs since the world is watching them. If it was a total war situation and the American death squads invaded Canada no doubt they will be killing many of us to scare us into submission. While some of us will fight to the death many of us will not for fear of the horror that American killers would inflict on our families for trying to liberate them from their barbaric ways.

Okay, show of hands. How many Americans, or even just residents of the US, here have even fired an automatic weapon? How many have killed even one person?

I think Comtech might be surprised to find out how many Americans don't even own a gun. A third of the country can't even afford a decent healthcare plan.
