Actually we're still reeling from the asshole that was Mike Harris. And Tory shot himself in the foot for bringing up faith based schooling in our very secular part of the country. Plus he ran a pretty negative campaign overall, and people here were smartening up to his rhetorical attacks.
It's a good day for the Ontario libs. :D

That was alot of money wasted on two foregone conclusions....ok, the Lib majority wasn't a foregone conlusion until Tory opened his mouth and uttered "funding for faith based schools".

And the Greens got the PC protest vote from those that couldn't bring themselves to vote Liberal.

If you think this is reeling, pose the same question in another 4 years.

If people smartened up to rhetorical attacks then NO party would be in power.

I can't help but notice the purchasing of votes with the electorates own money is back to it's traditional role. The Toronto Star listed McGuinty's infrastructure plan at $60 billion. No mention of the Ontario debt in the entire campaign.
