Contrary to what people and polls may be saying, I am finding more and more Western countries that began with an anti - American string of attacks have begun to elect pro - American administrations.

In Australia, Mr. John Howard was elected versus the Labour Party. Mr Howard is one of the staunchest supporters of Mr. Bush.

In Germany, Gerard Shroeder began ranting about how unlawful and terrible the invasion of Iraq was...And Angela Merkel won the very next election. Not by alot, but by quite a bit.

In Britain, the Labour Party under Mr Blair has won several majority governments, even after supporting Bush on even the war on Iraq, which so few do.

Now, in Canada, Mr. Harper has been elected, albeit with a razor thin minority.

However, in polls, the popularity of these leaders are all very high.

Why is this?

You'll figure it out, too, someday.

Chirac is the last leader who I can think of who was averse to the Iraq war.

Will he be left standing in France's next election?

Pro American Administrations Being Elected

I hope the hell that's the case. Pissing off our largest trade and most trusted neighbor only makes scence if you're a loony.

$1:
In Australia, Mr. John Howard was elected versus the Labour Party. Mr Howard is one of the staunchest supporters of Mr. Bush.

Howard worked very hard to keep Iraq a non-issue in the last election. He was re-elected because of domestic issues.

$1:
In Germany, Gerard Shroeder began ranting about how unlawful and terrible the invasion of Iraq was...And Angela Merkel won the very next election. Not by alot, but by quite a bit.

Merkel also found it politically prudent to criticise Bush on secret prisons and Guantanamo.

$1:
In Britain, the Labour Party under Mr Blair has won several majority governments, even after supporting Bush on even the war on Iraq, which so few do.

The choice is the even more pro-Bush tories and Blair did lose ground to the smaller anti-war parties. There is also a lot of dissent within the Labour Party.

$1:
Now, in Canada, Mr. Harper has been elected, albeit with a razor thin minority.

Most Canadians voted against him. He should have picked up ten points in the "honeymoon" period after the election, but instead only made gains within the margin of error of most polls.

That's just mental. You're not helping Hillary with that sort of rubbish.

I understand that hiring US folks is very popular:
