bootlegga bootlegga:

You're still not understanding me.

The problem isn't that your starting anti-Liberal threads (anyone can post wahtever the hell they want) - it's that, just like Rev Blair and Winnipegger, that's all you do, AND you only do so during election times. At least hardcore partisans like Ridenrain and Streaker had the balls to be a regular and post all year long - AND contributed to other conversations around here.

I don't care to converse on the forums for any other reason than politics. That doesn't mean I have less "balls" it means I have better things to do with my time when not discussing politics.

I am on the forum all year round and I have donated money to the cause as I enjoy the forums.

Just because I'm not like a lot of you who do your socializing online, doesn't mean I'm any less of a member. Just less active.

bootlegga bootlegga:

Even worse, you act like a bully and tell people not to post in the threads you do start (like you did to EB yesterday).

Newsflash - that's not your job, it's the mods, and if they want to stop that, it's their decision, not yours.

Wow, that takes some nerve to drop that turd.

Considering how many have been acting here, trying to bully the partisan people by posting Monty Phyton jokes, videos, etc.

There's more than 1 way to bully a person into doing what they want.

Further, whether or not you have a problem what how I post and what I post is irrelvant. Like you said above, let the mods do their job if we're posting things that are inappropriate.

If I don't like what I'm reading or have no interest in what's being said, I move along. It's fairly easy to do.

In the end, I don't care what you think of me or how I post. This isn't a popularity contest.

Come on now. Any excuse to post a Monty Python video is a good cause.

EyeBrock EyeBrock:
I have no beef with either of you, I just don't agree with you. Is that so bad Bodah?

It has nothing to do with agreeing with people, you just don't like what some people are posting. So you come into the thread call people hacks and hi-jack the thread, is that your idea of good CKA content ?

Knock yourself out.

Conservatives are Conservatives, Liberals are Liberals, NDP are NDP. The Bloc are well er um sort of closeted.

Except Boots, he's between the rock and the hard place. Cheers Boots[B-o]

Since I started the Python-business, let me say that it was NEVER my intention to bully anyone. I was trying to add some levity to the usual partisan silliness that permeates the forums at election time. I think I'm VERY strongly on the record around here as a supporter of free-speech. That you could accuse me of bullying or attempting to cool free speech is upsetting to me and I apologize if you saw it that way. But I see partisan hackery as the most childish drivel that exists on the forums and I won't apologize for calling it out as such when I see it. This isn't the fourth grade and "My daddy can beat up your daddy" isn't furthering the intellectual debate that some of us attempt to engage in here.

You're not alone on that anti-partisan hackery team, Lemmy. [B-o]

I'm just afraid that we may have become partisan anti-partisans. 8O
