I 100% believe in Alberta Separation, and this idea will only spread if the Liberals get re-elected after all this information about the sponsorship scandel has been released. Alberta pays well over a billion dollars a year only to have it go to Quebec in order to bribe them into confederation. This is along with having no ability to shift the countries political decisions in the House of Commons, we are a bank that only pays out, eventually the bank will stop giving. Alberta should build a military, and leave confederation. In the next election i will be voting for the Separation Party of Alberta (www.separationalberta.com).

I 100% do not believe in seperation at all and 100% believe in a unified Canada. Believers in seperation in Alberta constitute 0.1% of the population so I highly doubt it will occur regardless on whose elected. Its your holier than thou attitude that prompted me to leave Alberta and go to where people are more right in the head. Alberta can not build a military...why what or who would they defend from? Your American friends? Alberta seperation...not a big issue because it hardly registers on the govs watchful eye, in this case, they dont have one out West anyways. The people in ALberta vote for the same party even if they hate the persons guts, does that remind you of Ontario voters and Tony Blair? The Green party has a better chance at getting elected than www.separationalbera.com. Alberta seems to think that they speak for ALL of Western Canada...trust me you dont. Basically it the problems extend from the NEP, which the Albertans so despised 30 years ago...GET OVER IT.

Alberta will not seperate, I lived there for 22 yrs and yeh the libs are assholes but as great as Alberta is it cant servive on its owne and would end up Joining the staes if it ever did. things will sork out for Alberta in the end.

If Alberta want to separate, I would not stop them to do so.

In Québec we have fought for independence for 40 years and we are converging to it, in fact there just a little more work to do and we win!

Alberta need a lot of time, of energy and work to get to it!
