I find 80's compilations always lacking. What about Stephanie Mills classic theme song to Fletch? Fletch IS working overtime! But no. Tainted Love by Soft Cell. On EVERY compilation. Billy Ocean's When the Tough Get Going? Nope...another track forever sacrificed to Come On Eileen. Not that it's a bad song, but dammit, there were other good songs! A-ha's Living Daylights! Put that bad boy on there!
Oh, your source? YouTube...?

Oh shoot. Dayseed types faster than I do.
Actually, it was lucky I beat you. I was thinking of 80's songs I was about to go look up on YouTube. Duran Duran's the Reflex. I don't know what the hell that song is about, but it's catchy!

Nope. Do you guys honestly remeber those songs from the 80s?
Ha, when I let you in on where those songs originate from you'll just die.
Funny show too.

A little birdie whispered in my ear they're from How I Met Your Mother, but I don't watch that show. Is that it?

Try this for a "Classic Canadian" performance. This is the sixties...first openly gay transvestite singer on Yonge St. was Jackie Shane...here he is.
Yup. Its a great show actually. Cobie Smulders (the one in the video) is a Canadian actress playing a Canadian living in NYC. Its got willow from buffy and doogie howser MD.
Those videos were hilarious eh? You could easily mistake them for actual songs. The second one even had Tiffany in the video.
