I know this is probably not the right place to post this but I could not find a better place, Is anybody here besides my brother (Canadian_Mind) in cadets? Im in sea cadets and im just wondering if there are any others out there!

Right here. Air Cadets are the best. Any questioning on this is will be ignored as it simply isn't true that anyone could be better than an Air Cadet.

i was in cadets till i aged out, i was in army, i was the RSM and a CWO and then after i aged out i was a CIV for a while

Yeah I might become a CIV but just for the good pay at summer camp... $210 a day, just to boss some kids around.

it's not as easy as u might think.....i was a staff cadet at summer camp and that was tough, especially dealing with some of the bratty kids. i suppose being a CIV at camp is like being an officer, which seems more cushy but still, i don't think it's an easy ride. IMO the easy jobs are the movement officer jobs at the beginning and end of camps.

sure I was hugged, im not a hateful person how did you get that out of what I thought was easy money? and if you mean me saying "to boss kids around" thats what all they do basicly I just got back from summer camp.

Army Cadet rocked.. although I started out in the Air Cadets 767 squadron here in BC.. but god that was almost 30 years ago... I can remember the summers in vernon.. that was cool

seems like a billion years ago now though... dinosaurs ruled the earth...and the cadet corps...LOL.

lol no kidding....waaaaaaaay back then when the 3 elements were united and wore the same uniforms....the years when rank insignia were red coloured....when short shorts were in style.......oh wait, those were still worn in '98 when i first went to camp!

wait! they still issue short shorts but they arnt as short! PT gear got a big bigger because they realized that the short shorts hurt!
