We should all just switch to Robin's Donuts. They are Canadian owned though they seem to be losing ground to timmies

Good luck finding one - Tim Horton's killed off most of the competition ages ago because people go there for double/doubles.

The only donut shops left in Alberta are either bakeries or Tim Horton's. My heart/waistline thanks Tim Horton's for doing so, but my hypothalmus (or wherever food cravings come from) doesn't.

 yeah I'm sure you and yours have past up a lot of timbits in the last decade. lard ass (es)

I 'worked' at a TH last year for 4 weeks during a reno. All construction staff were offered the menu for free. Not once did I avail myself of their slop & tripe!

I will some up my opinion of Timmies, Timmies as a Canadian icon and the OP in one "word"; Meh.

Let's face it, the first time it was partially in American hands was when it pretty much went to shit, and it never recovered.

But you can tell the "Timmies craze" has very little to do with donuts, otherwise Krispy Kreme would have thrived here. They were better than Timmies even when Timmies still knew how to make a good donut.

I know eh! Will it be medical spam? Untraceable passports? House cleaning services in Lahore (despite this site being populated mostly by people in Canada)?

If Timmies was your idea of a 5 star culinary experience prior to being bought by BK then I suggest for you get out a lot more often. :D

At one time, a long time ago, Timmie's donuts were "fairly" good... better than DDs... but not anymore. I've never liked BK.

My dad used to make them at home when I was young. :D

Since he was a trained pastry chef, he made choux pastries too... including éclairs and mille-feuilles. [drool]

I'm talking about comparing various chains. The only chain I see around (everywhere) is Tims. Why people eat and drink that awful crap is beyond me. If I want a decent, quick coffee, I go to McDs, but even that is pretty rare.
