Well, prior to WWII,most farmers in Canada had only one goal in mind and it shaped their entire ideology till this day. Their goal was to produce the most potent marijuana the world had ever seen. You may think that it was just to sell and make it Canada's #1 cash crop, but you'd be wrong. There is a secret organization of Canadian farmers all working towards world domination. You guessed it, the marijuana is to be their weapon of mass destruction. It may take a little longer than chemical. biological or nuclear weapons, but it's no less destructive. Just look at what it's doing to the United States now. Over the years they enhanced their crop making it more deadly all the time. Testing was done in Newfoundland, (no real surprise there eh?) and it has rendered their population, well, like they are. Power hungry and just simply destructive, look what they've done to the poor Newfies, that's the base ideology for the Canadian farmer since 1937 to the present day.
