I lied once and lost my car for a couple hours. How was I to know that with 3 people in the back seat and 38 dozen beer in the trunk was causing my bumper to almost be touching the road. But that was back in the days when it only cost $100 to get the car back. The biggest problem was that they didn't take cedit cards so we couldn't pay the fine. After buying all that beer we were $40 short of the $100, we wrote on an empty beer flat, Got any Spare change ? Bastards took our Beer and the Car. We stood in no mans land with the sign and in 15 minutes we had the $40 bucks and my car back.

They charged me $70.00 and double duty on the beer.I didnt care about the car,it was only a Topaz.

I recall once having a new slow cooker in it's box in the back of the station wagon with a bunch of other stuff. They kept having to move it in the conduct of their search including the spare tire beneath the floor. Best place to hide is in the open.
