Toro Toro:
Actually, I support this idea.

Do you know what a pain it is to come through customs two or three times a year? Sometimes I'm waiting for almost 20 minutes!

Let's merge, so I, I mean "we" can get rid of this intolerable inconvenience.

If you find my country an inconvenience and therefore wish to join the USA, please feel free to do so by yourself. There is no way Canada is ever going to join the USA and become its bitch as long as I am alive.

Absolutely not! The USA is not fit to look upon us at all. Were Canada to ever join the US I would begin the greatest fascist revolution the world has ever seen! I am proud to be Canadian and I shall always remain Canadian. The US can kiss the maple leaf I have stamped upon my ass.

I love your Canadian patriotism, I just hate the way you have... branded it. :?

So.... um.... Yeah, Good luck with that PDT_Armataz_01_15

A communist is discussing how I display my pride in Canada? A communist speaking of national pride to a fascist?? What has this world come to?

ROTFL

I'm not communist. I made this avatar from the term 'Soviet Canuckistan' given to us from Anti-Canadian Pat Buchanan. I thought the term humourous and decided to use it.

Communist, Oh god, You've made my day, thank you. XD

Pat Buchanan had every right to call us Soviet Canuckistan. If you would please review your avatar many would believe you to be a communist. If you wish people to keep thinking you are one then I do suppose that is your business. If you are truly not a communist and I called you one, then I erred. I do apologise. No doubt you are a liberal socialist or are you?

Now, although I would prefer to remain a separate country, this poses a way for us to better ourselves. If we're one country, then instead of having to agree on sodtwood lumber and other vital trades in both america and Canada, we would simply have one industry, instead of two trying to both compete and also not compete at the same time, it could be unified. Also, when a person travels to mexico and purchases something, they would no longer have to worry about it getting taken away on a stop over in the USA on the way back to canada, since it's all one country. Also, this way, we don't have to die fighting off the eventual american invasion, this way, we can become one nation, while at the same time making sure that our unique values remain alive in some form, which is beter than being completely forgotten in the sands of time. Also, there is another thread about this on this forum, and one person there states that there is nothing we can do anyways, since some media source in the united states accidentally leaked that on July 1st (CANADA DAY, by the way) of 2010, the North American Union is supposed to rise into existence at noon on that day.

Plus, since they only people better at war than americans are canadians, and the yanks have better weapons, we'd be able to both peace-make in the short term, and peace-keep in the long term, all the while having the finest military in the world, with the american unwillingness to stand by, and the canadian value of treating people with respect no matter where we go.

The only real concern I have is for Football/Gridiron. What will happen to that wonderful sport. Over time, america and canada have come to have separate rules, with canadian football being much harder to play then american, while american takes for tactfulness, as you have to keep the ball longer. Will we amalgamate the rules, or remain with two separate ways of playing, being based on region??

All in all, I think it is better for it to happen this way, instead of a Military show down where although we could hold our own for a long time, we'd eventually lose simply because of numbers. And with this survival, comes the opportunity to make sure that values that we have come to love as independant from other countries can live on.

Ok, man, you can fight the americans and get filled with .50 calibre rounds from the top of a humvee, die, and let the values of this great nation die with you. I'll just peacably let them kill you, and live on tho ensure the survival of my values, so that perhaps one day, when the government of the super-nation starts to fall apart, I can re-patriate our land and we can once again be proud of our own identity. At least this way, we get recognized for what we bring into the union. There are groups of people, in both america and canada, that thing we should simply be another 13 states of america, with no recognition of the few things that we can contribute in the dying days of our nation, such as planting trees when we cut them down.

If we gte invaded, or just simply become part of the USA, no more baby trees!

THINK OF THE SEEDLINGS!!!!!!!

I really don't see how hard it is to see that the avatar is a joke.

In any case, I put a disclaimer in my signature, for folks like you.

You know Lucifer, part of being Canadian is being able to laugh at your self and your culture. :|

And no, I'm not a Liberal Socialist, XD

You kill me, lmao

Why you most certainly do have a disclaimer! Well slap me down but I have been caught unawares! Silly me! Once again I apologise for jumping to conclusions. I should know better.

If you say you are not a liberal socialist then I am inclined to believe you. I see no point in anyone lying about their political leanings unless they were actually living in a communist country. Naturally they would state they are fully communist through and through.

Lucifer? Why yes I have heard of a Lucifer. Is he not the fallen angel from Heaven? What does he have to do with being Canadian? Perhaps you are attempting to equate one Jean Chretien with the foul Lucifer?
