DerbyX DerbyX:
In WW2 the same can be said that we fought from the start when it looked like Germany could achieve its victory. You joined after the Battle of Britain (arguably the turning point for our side) was already won.
Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, thought otherwise and made that clear in his memoirs and in his public speeches. Since I'd consider him to be a more reliable judge of Britain's order of battle at the point the US entered the war I'm pretty comfortable saying that you're wrong.
Here we go again. Another American claiming it was the Americans who alone won both WWI and WWII. This gets so old I grow weary. *yawn* Nothing worse than someone telling fairy tales. Someone has not a clue what the word 'Allies' implies. Ah well.
