I think we are in agreement on this topic. I'm just amazed at opinions like Scapes, especially from somebody who purports to have served in the Army. His attitude is disconcerting really.

I'm sure none of us go about actively hating anybody but the threat level has just been elevated.
To ignore that is just bloody silly.

Nobody in the UK ignored the IRA. As the offspring of Irish Catholic parents there was always a bit of resentment around the time of any bombing.
We weathered the storm and I joined up to serve and now the Troubles are over. Tensions linger but the war is done.

I'm sure there are a few young muslims in Mississauga who are disgusted at these traitors who plotted to kill innocents and will be off to sign the dotted line themselves. At least I hope they will.

I'm just hoping that the silent majority of Muslims in Canada stop being silent and start sorting out the obvious problems within the worshippers of that religion in Canada and elsewhere in the West.

This war will go on longer but one day it will be over and we can all get on with living our lives free from the fear that terrorists thrive on.
