Tricks go and take a look at the threads on the terror arrests from two weeks ago. Almost to a man the right-wingers blamed multiculturalism and lax immigration policies for the development of home grown terrorists (similar views were expressed in the UK after the underground bombs) yet the US has neither official multiculturalism or a lax immigration policy but they now have homegrown Islamic terrorists.

In the indictment, the alleged ringleader is accused of swearing an oath of loyalty to al-Qaeda and wanting material support from the organization, but there is no indication he had any actual contact with the group.

He is also accused of telling a person posing as an al-Qaeda representative that he was "organizing a mission to build an 'Islamic army' in order to wage jihad."
