No the United States army has the most heavily equiped soldiers with more than 1,055,734. And the most heavily populated army is China.

stokes stokes:
Americans are paranoid because since the war of 1812 no one that has attacked the US has declared war first.

WWI - A ship full of Americans was torpedoed
WWII - Sneak Attack by the Japanese (Pearl Harbour)
WOT - Sneak attack by Al Quaida

having said that, if the world would ignore the US, the US would ignore the world. The ignorant have created this monster and now this monster cant be stopped!

True, you are a f%$king genius!!!Seriously.

Gee it's not like all this paranoia (posted photos above) has not been brought on by the United States uncanny ability to be sticking it's nose in everyone else's business and occupying nations that don't want them there??
Oh give it a rest.

You people bitch when we're occupying a country and when we don't help a country (like Africa) we get chided from people like you.

I kind of see your point, but I'm just saying...Africa isn't a country.

The USA should stay very far from Africa. Eventually the Africans will come to their senses. Its the tampering that makes you enemies. If they kill each other, good for them. That goes for everyone out there.

America should truly try and be neutral. Fuck Israel, Fuck Pakistan, Fuck the world. Just trade. That's it. Peace

sandorski sandorski:
Yes, the US is largely paranoid, but it is of their own doing. It flares up worse from time to time. 9/11 was one such flare up, fortunately that is beginning to subside.

Not sure how the Swiss got thrown into this discussion. The Swiss may be heavily armed, but they are not paranoid by any stretch. They have few if any enemies. Largely due to their Neutral position in the grand scheme of things. The US is the exact Opposite and is why the US has so many enemies.

During World War Two both Germany and Italy threatened to invade Switzerland and the Swiss made it clear to both governments that the war would not be contained to Switzerland. The Swiss have had their own version of the MAD doctrine for sometime and they have the capabilities to carry it out. Add to this the fact that every able bodied man and willing woman from ages 18-45 (and younger and older in some circumstances) is a member of their reserve and you have a nation that essentially has four standing Armies.

In sum the Swiss have no enemies because the Swiss are ready to wage total war against anyone stupid enough to take them on.

The Swiss call this, Armed Neutrality.

Obama already said he'd invade any nation he needed to without permission from the nation or the UN. I guess you missed that, eh?

ROTFL

Yeah, according to what they consider to be right and righteous...

This may freak some people out, but the world has historically been dominated by one main power that "tries to bring order to a world falling into chaos" and is kept in check by another major power and a bunch of smaller powers. Ultimately however, this "major and important civilization" comes to a terribly anti-climactic and dragged-out end, only to be replaced by another power, that will then be kept in check by another power... This is the basic cycle of human history...

Mesopotamia vs. Nomadic tribes/warrior tribes

Egypt vs. Assyrians

Greece vs. Persia

Roman Empire vs. everybody

England vs. France

America vs. USSR

etc.

Which is fine. But he didn't say he would invade without just cause.

Obama is a very smart man, who has been at both ends of the economic spectrum. He also has knowledge of the world, and is well travelled.

If someone attacks the U.S., dam right we should go into Afghanistan and kick some **expletive expletive** ass. (not Iraq)

Any similarities between Rome and the US? Kingdom, Republic and Empire?

I'd say it was England against Europe rather than merely France, and it isn't America standing alone against the rest of the world. It's more English (speaking) civilization or more loosely, Western(secular) civilization vs. medieval theocratic barbarism.

It's still England against the rest of Europe, only the rest of Europe is now in England
