So we have to be desperate to hate the United States? Look at all the jokes on this website, especially that God saying about Canada and the US. That just crossed the line, and that's just disgusting. When did God say Canada is gonna be so great, and if he did, how come Canada isn't just like what God said?

Do you want an honest answer?

$1:
And the question is, does Canada have a culture? I highly wonder if Canada ever had a culture like the US does. United States has a strong and massive pop-culture, but what does Canada have? I heard someone saying Sushi, but that's not even Canadian.....................

You are forgetting that much of US culture can equally be considered as ours as well. You are also ignoring the influence Canada has on popular US culture. I'm also guessing you were never into "cottage-weekend culture". Very Canadian.

man get a life, its called a JOKE. There are way more jokes making fun of Canada.

And in the end, Bush never did anything wrong to Canada

This is an extremely ignorant statement, anyone know that many decisions mad ein the US affect Canada.

Canadaluvv Canadaluvv:

So that means, making fun of the Americans is not about racism, so we should make fun of them.

Have you read the threads? Do you even possess the foggiest notion about what you are talking about? You are using generalizations to chastise an entire site for using alleged generalizations? How persuasive.

“Is that what you want to say
?”

I already wrote what I wanted to say. See…I just did it again.

$1:
“and knee jerk conclusion..how can you call this like that?”

I just follow your “knee jerk conclusions” and label them as such. It’s not very difficult. 8)

The Canadian Wheat Board

If you don't understand where anit-American sentiments might come frome, then I'm guessing you are not Canadian.

Hey Trev, if this guy isn't deserving of an anti-Canuck medal, I don't know who is.

Oh really? So can we call Hollywood movies = Canadian culture too? And the influence that Canada has on popular culture...where do those people eventually end up living in? US? Canada?

 Do you not think that all the big name Canadians in US films bring the humour & outlook they developed growing up here even if they relocate to the US? Our CFL is our culture alone and virtually every thing about hockey is Canadian. Don Cherry is a cultural icon. Cottage country is a very Canadian cultural thing. How about the snow-boarder culture that exists in BC/AB, the ultra cool & hip pot-smoking boarders? Certainly the NFLD people have a non-american culture, Quebec and separatism are still part of our culture. The mellowness & laid back attitude of NS isn't a copycat US thing. There is tons of our culture but if you watch nothing but US TV shows you won't find it, why would you. Tune into Corner Gas sometime.

First of all, Canada never listened to the United States, and can we really say we did enough for the Americans? After the Iraq war, when Colin Powell reassured Canada about the Iraq war, I felt mad. Because this is how we treat the southern border.

Because we can think and act on our own? GOD FORBID!!!

Come on, I'm a patriotic Canadian as you can see my sig. I love Canada, and all I'm saying is just true, that's all.
Most of your posts to date have been horse shit.

If I was a gambling man, I would bet you've never even been to Canada.

I am not Anti-American at all but I am against many of their protectionist domestic policies and many of their nation building foreign policies. I have yet to meet an American that I did not like. I may disagree with them on certain matters but all in all most if not all Americans I have met have been genuinely nice people.

As a Proud American, I find this site quite charming. I would rather hear critisism than nothing at all. Canadians have a unique love/hate perspective on the U.S. that we must attend to.

Canada for being so extremely important to the U.S. is strangely not on our radar screens and we don't generally have access to Canadian media. That is far stranger than this site.

Real Canadians (not Algerians) are always welcome in the U.S. as family. I have found this site to be a lot of fun. We can banter with Canadians here and wrestle each other to the floor.
