I Have been visiting Canada for pretty much my whole life. My first visit was when I was 2. I have Aunt's Uncle's and cousins there. My wife is canadian. I worked in Canada for 3 years. Paid Canadian taxes which I find are astronomical. I got $10,000 raise which turned out to be an extra $92 a week. There was always a sense that Canadians were a little anti-American. I always felt is was simple, they want thier own identity who could blame them? But over the past 10 years I have seen it go from that to straight out American bashing. For example the clips from this hour has 22 minutes. Get real anyone can go up to 100 people and find 3 or 4 uninformed people. I am sure I could do the same in Canada. Canadians automaticly say "look at how dumb Americans are" Now who is being ignorant?

I lived in Canada for 3 years mostly in Toronto. ut I traveled through out Canada while working there. I met the most hypocritical people in my life while there. They would say American are racist and then in the same breath say Pakis smell. I dont even want to start on how your goverment treats the Native Indians. Not to mention what they say about Americans. Just make a note when you say all Americans are dumb rednecks thats a racist remark. Multiculturaism? Its a liberals way of saying I dont want my son or daughter to marry a nigger, spic, or paki. Or anyone thats not white. Liberals are the real rasicts. Melting pot means cultures will assimilate and become one. As it has through all of history.


As of the last 5 or 6 times I have went up to Canada. People have become down right rude. Bashing anything and everything American from FOX news to Baseball. They blame Bush for everthing. They gat a flat tire and say "that damm Bush he's droping nails eveywhere" I have a news flash for you YOUR POLITICAINS BASH BUSH TO HIDE THEIR OWN SHORTCOMINGS. Your tax and spend liberals are killing your middle class. And no one cares because Bush is the evil causing all of our problems. Open your eyes please. When Jean Chreitien goverment was in scandal he attacked the USA's policies, and all the Canadians agreed instead of looking at his faliures. I hear you wide and clear NYC on 2 things. One your argument and the other on the beer! LOL. Although I don't drink much, when I do drink beer I try to keep it Canadian. Although, I did buy Red Dog once and I found it to be a cheaper U.S alternative to Canadian beer. $5.50 a bottled 12 pack for Red Dog as opposed to $5.50 a bottled 6 pack for Canadian imports. Isn't it sad that Americans pay almost half the price for Canadian beers than Canadians pay?? You can thank Canadian taxes for that! Samething with gasoline prices too. And well...pretty much everything else. It's really the poor who get hurt the most in the long run. It's insane with some of the prices down here. Me and my brother always go bargain hunting at the local Albertsons, we always manage to save more than a 50% on our groceries with the membership because we only go for the deals they have, especially the dollar deals. I tell my Canadian friends about the price of food here and they can't believe it...in fact my anti-American friend told me he hopes it never gets that cheap in Canada! What kind of logic is that??? It would benefit their poor if anything who have a hard time living up there. I wish I grew up poor in the U.S, I would of eaten better than I did in Canada.

Oh well....here I go rambling again.

I agree on the Canadians being rude to Americans remark. My wife was not treated very well because of her origin, in fact she wonders how Canadians consider themselves to be more polite than Americans. LOL, I agree...its such a common myth that exists in Canada. Eeverytime I went to visit the U.S people (especially in rural areas and the south) treated me like a citizen...especially at work, where I thought I would recieve hostility for being a immigrant but was treated like everybody else. The sad part is that most Americans are not aware of the hostility that exists in Canada...except for the ones who have visited and dealt with the border patrols. If Americans were more aware of the hostility, I don't think I would be treated as fairly.

When I hear Canadians saying "oh, we like Americans, we just dont agree with the politics" on this chat site, I want to laugh because if that was so...then why have i experienced differently up in Canada and why is it only that Canadians on these forums can only focus on the negatives that go on in the U.S and completely be silent on the positives? I mean just look at all the insults and stereotyping that occur in this forum.

Anyways, I dont want to make this post too long.

Frist off when and where did Prsident Bush use racial slurs and dont just say he did send a link! Remeber What you call a racist has the most diverse cabinit in US history He has a black female as secratary of state Condeleeza Rice before her was Colin Powell Another African-American. HIs Attorney general id hispanic. I could go on and on. But put your money where your mouth is and find out when Bush used racial slurs.

As for Gay marriage I am against it. It does not make you the leading light of the free world to pass alaw for it. Belgium and the Neatherlands have done it already. I feel there should be some sort of union for gays but not Marriage.

Sorry i forgot Sarnia Ontario is just the diversity capital of the world (its probably about 95% white) that you know all about racial slurs.
